By using PixLingo, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

We collect information to provide and improve the language learning experience. We practice data minimization and only collect what is necessary for the App to function.

Information You Provide When you create an account or use the App, we may collect:

  • Email address
  • Login credentials (if using email/password)
  • Authentication information from Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In (which may include your name, email address, and profile information you have made available)

Learning and Progress Information To deliver core features of PixLingo, we collect and store:

  • Languages you are learning
  • Words and lessons completed
  • Quiz and exercise performance
  • Learning progress and history
  • Review history and spaced repetition data
  • Learning streaks and achievements
  • Notification preferences
  • Subscription status (to determine access to premium content)

This information enables personalized learning, progress tracking, streak maintenance, review scheduling, and performance insights.

Device and Usage Information We may automatically collect limited technical and usage data, including:

  • App activity and feature usage

Subscriptions and Payments

PixLingo offers premium content through Apple In-App Purchases. All subscription purchases, billing, renewals, and payment processing are handled exclusively by Apple. We do not receive, store, or have access to your full payment card information.

AI-Assisted Educational Content

Some educational content in PixLingo may have been created or enhanced using artificial intelligence tools during development. PixLingo does not currently generate personalized educational content in real time based on user prompts, nor does it include an AI chatbot or conversational AI feature that processes your live inputs.

Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with trusted third-party service providers that help us operate and improve the App. These providers include:

  • Authentication providers (e.g., Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or backend authentication services)
  • Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers
  • Analytics and performance monitoring providers
  • Customer support tools
  • Subscription and payment-related services (via Apple)

These service providers are contractually obligated to use your information only as necessary to perform services on our behalf and to protect it in accordance with this Policy.

We will process valid deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe, subject to legal and operational requirements (e.g., we may retain limited information as required by law or to prevent fraud).
  • Data Portability: You may request a copy of certain data we hold about you.

PixLingo may be accessed from outside the United States.
